How CEOM Can Help
CEOM provides fellowship, accountability, and legal structure for ministries who do not currently have Charitable Status within Canada and who cannot receipt Canadian donors. Though we help with fundraising through networking and our newsletter, all fundraising responsibilities principally fall onto the agency wishing to collaborate. Ie., if you are a ministry in or outside of Canada and are actively seeking or willing to find Canadian donors to support your ministry, we provide charitable status and receipting on your behalf.
 
Who this is for:
  • Ministries outside of Canada who have Canadian donors or are working on Canadian exposure
  • Ministries within Canada who cannot provide charitable receipts to Canadian donors
  • Individuals in ministry who do not have an overseeing ministry organization in Canada
  • Individuals who wish to do a specific ministry or outreach event (such as a mission trip, ministry workshop, or Christian based retreat) and need receipting capabilities for those supporting
 
Who this is not for:
  • Ministries within Canada who already have federal charitable status and receipting capabilities
  • Individuals and Ministries who seek to rely on CEOM to raise funds for them
  • Individuals who wish to do an event or project that is not ministry or outreach related
  • Individuals and Ministries who do not hold traditional basic Christian values and beliefs

CEOM can/will help with fundraising. But the expectation that funding your ministry relies on your efforts must be understood.
